Sarah Cowie - Office Management
I joined Catalyst Fund Management & Research Ltd in October 2005, my role at the company is organisation, and if there is anything that needs organising I will do it.
My first task was to relocate the Catalyst office, a move which I managed to do in my first 6 days at the company! My role includes the day to day running of the Catalyst office and co-ordinating calendars and supporting the team. I also organise events such as our recent conference at the Emirates Stadium.
My background is in the beauty industry, I trained as a Beauty Therapist in the eighties and have worked in all aspects of the industry, Sales, Training, and Management as well as practically in the massaging the client sense at The Sanctuary, Champneys, Holmes Place and the LivingWell group.
I changed careers in 1998 and had a daughter, becoming a full time Mum. My son followed in 2000. Now that they are both at school, I am able to combine my role at Catalyst with the demands of the children’s social life.
I have travelled extensively, living in Malawi and working in Dubai. I enjoy gardening in spring, sunbathing in the summer, organising my children’s birthday parties in autumn and ice skating in winter.
