Internships

Catalyst serves the social business sector, offering research, investment and consultancy services to a variety of social, ethical, and environmental businesses. Our work draws on our team’s experience in the worlds of investment banking, social entrepreneurship, international development, venture capital and the voluntary sector.  Our role is to provide the information, advice, networks and, in the case of our fund management activities, capital to drive the growth of these businesses and the sector as a whole.  We are often looking for enthusiastic and business-literate interns to help us with our various projects.

Available Internships

At the moment we are looking for two interns:  a research and fundraising hero and a graphics hero.  We are looking for heroes in particular because none of these jobs are easy and all of them will require a degree of courage and resilience.  Please read the details below and then contact Julia if you think you have what it takes.

Hours and pay

Internships are mutually beneficial and are intended to be a fair deal: all interns should have the capacity to produce quality work that adds to Catalyst’s offering. In return we provide exposure to the social business sector, our way of working, and to our clients.

This role would be ideal for someone studying for a related undergraduate or postgraduate degree and we are willing to discuss making this role a more formal ‘placement’ as part of your studies.

The internship is unpaid and we will reimburse interns for travel and lunch expenses.

All internships are for a minimum of 6 weeks over the summer, working 3-5 days a week.
